It is rumoured locally that Billy Meredith (Manchester City & Wales) sometimes played for the “White Stars”

Sporting Teams

Rhostyllen has produced many a fine sportsman or should I say sports person! Below is just a small collection and I know there must be more. So if anyone has any such photographs then please let me know and I will include them. I remember watching the “brutal” Top Pub teams in the 70’s with my Dad! I can still see those “tackles”!

General Football

This section is devoted to everything but football. Tennis, crown green bowling, snooker are included but I know that there have been other sporting clubs such as angling and morris dancing!

This section is dedicated to all things football! Many players have played this sport through the years including the “White Stars”….
